Applications Of Dolomite

Dolomite is an important carbonate mineral, primarily composed of calcium magnesium carbonate (CaMg(CO₃)₂), and has wide and indispensable applications in numerous industrial sectors.

 

In the metallurgical industry, dolomite plays a crucial role. As a flux in steelmaking, it effectively removes harmful impurities such as sulfur and phosphorus, significantly improving steel quality.
