4. It can be used as a building material, a metallurgical flux, a cement accelerator, and a flux for phosphors. 5. Used as a vegetable oil decolorizing agent, drug carrier, soil conditioner, and calcium fertilizer;
6. Also used in refractory materials and as a desiccant;
7. Can be used to formulate agricultural machinery adhesives No. 1 and No. 2 and underwater epoxy adhesives, and also as a reactant for pre-reaction with 2402 resin;
8. Used for acidic wastewater treatment and sludge conditioning;
9. Can also be used as a boiler shutdown protection agent, utilizing the hygroscopic capacity of lime to keep the metal surfaces of the boiler's steam-water system dry and prevent corrosion. Suitable for long-term shutdown protection of low-pressure, medium-pressure, and small-capacity drum boilers;
10. Can react with water to prepare calcium hydroxide, reaction equation: CaO + H₂O = Ca(OH)₂, which is a combination reaction.
